Our Support

Our programs are designed to support the development of the printmaker. We have college-level programs such as our Portfolio Exchange program, and our Student Juried Show which are only open to student printmakers. We also have supported print exchanges and shows at both the Southern Graphics Council and the Mid- American Print Council annual conferences. The foundation has published the Catalogue Raisonne of Ann Chernow, and we are working on the same for other artists including Bruce Muirhead, Bela Patheo and Helen Farr Sloan. Finally, the Foundation is a business contact for artists. Sometimes the most frustrating thing about being an artist is figuring out how to make money doing what you love, we provie guidance and other professional assistance to the artist in the "business of art". Our mission states that we are dedicated to the printmaker, and not necessarily to the print - we believe this is the best way to keep the traditional printmaking art alive.
